5 Reasons to Attend the 2019 Issuetrak User Conference
We’re only two and a half short months away from the 2019 Issuetrak User Conference! This year’s two-day event will be taking place on September 18th and 19th at the Main Hotel in downtown Norfolk, Virginia.
Whether you’re a seasoned Issuetrak user who’s been with us for years, a brand-new customer who’s just getting started, or someone looking into Issuetrak that hasn’t committed to purchasing the software yet, our User Conference is for you! Your ticket gets you access to two days jam-packed full of knowledge -- from basic step-by-step walk-throughs to the most advanced best practices.
Not convinced that you should attend the Issuetrak conference? Here’s five reasons you shouldn’t miss out:
1. Hands-on activities and breakout sessions
We want our attendees to walk away from the conference confident in their ability to recreate what they learned at their own organizations. To ensure that conference-goers are getting the most out of the event, this year we’ll be incorporating an array of hands-on activities into our sessions. You’ll be able to learn by doing while working in your own, unique Issuetrak test site that you’ll be assigned at the beginning of the conference. Some of the activities you’ll take part in include:
- Building your own queries and reports
- Developing a set of escalation rules
- Mapping out a simple process in the Task Manager
- Configuring a user’s visibility within Issuetrak
2. Network with other Issuetrak users
One of the best aspects of attending a conference is the opportunity to meet and connect with a diverse group of people. Last year’s conference hosted attendees from a range of cities across the continent and a medley of different industries. We’ll provide plenty of time for you to speak with other conference-goers, from dedicated networking sessions to a networking happy hour on the evening of the first day. Make new friends, trade Issuetrak usage stories, and learn tips and tricks from others working in your industry and beyond.
3. Spend quality time with Issuetrak experts
While Issuetrak’s experts are always happy to talk with clients and potential customers over the phone, there’s no replacement for a face-to-face conversation. Issuetrak’s most experienced team members will be present and available throughout our User Conference, ready to answer your questions and chat. You’ll have access to the enormous breadth of expertise of both our ProServices team and our Support team. Sit down with them between sessions, attend a Q&A, or schedule some one-on-one time for a more in-depth consultation. (And remember that conference attendees get a free hour of time with a member of the ProServices team after the conference!)
4. Take knowledge home to share
We want to make it as easy as possible for you to share the knowledge you learn at our conference with your coworkers. This year we’ll be providing attendees with User Conference workbooks full of slides from our presentations, pages for taking notes and filling in information, relevant Traktips and best practices, and more. We’ll also provide each attendee with a digital copy of the presentation slides and a digital recording of the presentations. Keeping track of conference information has never been easier!
5. Enjoy Norfolk, VA
This year our conference space has moved -- we’re now located at the Main Hotel in scenic Downtown Norfolk! Norfolk boasts a huge selection of restaurants and bars, several museums, a shopping mall, and more. We’re also only a short drive to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront for any attendees who would like to take a trip down to the water. We invite you to enjoy our city while you’re visiting and take advantage of the central location of our conference hotel. There’s so much to explore! (And don't forget to take advantage of our discounted room block!)
Ready to get your ticket to the 2019 Issuetrak User Conference? We’ll be running our Early Bird Special through July 9 -- there’s still time to take advantage of our $100 discount price!
